Residents are being invited to bring the spirit of Christmas into their homes by joining in Macmillan Cancer Support’s Tree of Light Campaign with NatWest branches locally, to help people affected by cancer.
People can go in to branches of NatWest and pick up a Macmillan Tree of Light decoration for a suggested donation of £3 to the charity. The decorations can be personalised with a message of love, hope or remembrance for a loved one this Christmas.
The money raised through the sale of decorations will help to fund Macmillan’s practical, emotional, medical and financial support services to help ensure that no one faces cancer alone at Christmas.
Melanie Failes from Macmillan Cancer Support said, “I’d like to say a huge thanks to all the staff at NatWest for helping to take the spirit of Macmillan’s Tree of Light across Sussex.
“All of the money raised by generous customers and staff will make a vital difference to Macmillan as we aim to support even more affected by cancer this Christmas.”
Phil Northey at NatWest said, “I’m delighted NatWest have been able to support our partner Macmillan with messages of love this Christmas. I’d encourage everyone who can to pay a visit, and help raise funds for a fantastic cause that NatWest is proud to support.”
