Families for Autism trustee and chief executive officer Mark Jones said, “The aim of the job club is to equip those struggling to find suitable work with the skills and strategies to take their next steps towards sustainable work.

“We were extremely proud to have been approached by Job centre Plus and look forward to working with Simon and his colleagues during the year.”

Simon King, a manager at Job Centre Plus said, “We are so pleased to be able to offer this exciting opportunity to Families for Autism, and feel that the work they undertake will really benefit individuals with ASD and help to get them into the work place or voluntary sector.”

The first job club will be starting on February 5 between 10am and noon with full information being posted through the charity’s website and online social forums.
