New games and attractions have arrived at Eastbourne Pier with arcade machines on the way.
Around 20 new games and attractions aimed at children have been installed on the seafront landmark.
Owner Sheikh Abid Gulzar said he felt there needed to be more on the pier to attract young people with their families so he has opened two new
outlets especially for children.
There are a variety of amusements, including ice hockey, cranes, football, teddy bears fun zone, tricks, all-star chicken games, and much more besides.
Prices range from 20 pence to £3 per go and on some of the games you are guaranteed to win a prize.
Mr Gulzar said:, “This is yet another added improvement to Eastbourne Pier, and one that I am very pleased with.
2We have recognised for a while now we needed to do more for children on the pier, and that is exactly what we have done. I am sure it will bring even more families to be with us.”
The first shop is past the wide open area near to the entrance of the iconic site, while the second is close to the Victorian tea rooms.
Next is the amusement arcade but Mr Gulzar says he is is waiting for the licence application to be approved.
The machines will be just before the Tea Rooms in what was the Sweet Shop. That has moved opposite.
