Part of the A27 at Polegate will be closed tonight (Tuesday) as a new junction is installed at the wind farm.
Both carriageways of the Polegate bypass will be closed overnight between 8pm tonight and 6am tomorrow morning (Wednesday).
Highways England, which is carrying out the work, says clearly signed diversions will be in place via the A27, A2270 and A22.
Construction work has already begun at the Shepham Wind Farm for three turbines, each 115 metres high, to be erected on land just off Shepham Lane.
It will supply renewable electricity generation of up to 7.5 MW of installed capacity, sufficient to power up to 4,000 homes.
