Eastbourne’s iconic seafront Bandstand has a great line-up in store for music fans this year, kicking off the summer long season on May 1 with a fantastic tribute to some of the biggest names in music, complete with a firework finale.
Performing hit songs from the likes of Robbie Williams, Prince, Cher, Blondie, The Eurythmics, Dire Straits, Amy Winehouse and many more, the ‘Legends Tribute Show’ tribute acts will take audiences on a journey of rock and pop celebration.
The popular Bandstand season welcomes lots of new exciting shows in 2015, from a great line-up of musical acts set to entertain audiences during the summer.
From The Opera Duo and The Rat Pack, to Nashville and Madonna there are plenty of top acts to look forward to at the UK’s busiest Bandstand.
The season officially starts on Easter Sunday with a free concert open to all, with music from the Eastbourne Silver Band. The season will be in full swing from early May until the end of September, with concerts every day in the peak of summer, from tribute acts to classical and even country music.
Tickets are on sale now for all concerts at the popular music venue which boasts weekly firework displays in the summer at its well-loved ‘1812’ Tchaikovsky nights every Wednesday.
Eastbourne Borough Council Senior Head of Tourism & Enterprise Philip Evans said, “Eastbourne has been offering a summer long entertainment programme at the UK’s busiest Bandstand for many years, bringing thousands of visitors into the town each summer.
“With some great new musical acts and performances, we are confident that 2015’s programme will further build on this success of last years’.”
