Due to popular demand, the Eastbourne Eye will now be here until November 1.

This summer the Western Lawns have been home to the 35 metre tall attraction, offering panoramic views across the town and surrounding areas.

The big wheel opened back in July, offering 10-minute rides every day of the week.

The eye is staying a little back longer though due to its popularity - more than 25,000 people have ridden it!

From October 1 - 23, the Eastbourne Eye will be open on Fridays from 4pm to 9pm, on Saturdays from 11am to 9pm, and on Sundays from 11am to 5pm.

The wheel will be closed Monday to Thursday for this time period.

For the school half term, October 24 - November 1, the wheel will be open every day of the week. Times are to be confirmed closer to the time.

Socially distanced queuing systems will be in place and the use of hand sanitizer before and after entering the pods is compulsory for each rider.
