DO YOU recognise yourself in this photograph?

That’s the question from Ann Allan who lives in Seaford and has sent in this photograph of herself and others taken in 1954 in Eastbourne.

Ann was working for the famous Picture Post Magazine and was chosen to be a picture post girl for a holiday campaign.

She was one of six girls chosen to appear in holiday resorts in the UK and members of the public could win £5 if they spotted one of the ladies.

Ann writes, “I am on the left of the photo which was taken in Eastbourne.

“But who is the other lady in the front – a holidaymaker or a resident?”
