Covid-19 case reported at Eastbourne school
An individual at an Eastbourne secondary school has tested positive for Covid-19.
Parents of students at Ratton School were told in a letter sent out today (Monday, October 19).
The letter, signed by the executive headteacher Huxley Knox-Macaulay, said they believe that no children have been in close contact with the individual who tested positive for coronavirus, and that relevant areas of the school have been deep cleaned.
My Knox-Macaulay said the school remains open and students should continue to attend as normal if they remain well.
