Eastbourne school sends a whole year group home
An Eastbourne secondary school has sent all of year nine home for two weeks due to Covid impacting staff numbers.

Causeway School on Larkspur Drive closed to year nine students on December 7 and is expected to open again on December 17 according to the school. It remains open as usual for all other year groups.
A statement from Swale Academies Trust said, “We can confirm that one year group at Causeway School is currently closed. As with any Covid-19 related issues, the school has followed Department of Education and Public Health England guidance to the letter.”
