The Post Office Ltd said it will provide a hosted outreach service at The Old Chapel, The Tye, every Wednesday starting today (August 5) between 2pm and 4pm.

A Post Office spokesperson said the service will be operated by Rodmill’s Postmaster, Josh Groves, who will be able to do cash withdrawals, cash deposits and take people’s parcels, among other services.

Post Office change manager Graham Brander said, “We are pleased that Rodmill Postmaster Josh Groves can provide this service for Alfriston to restore Post Office service. We know the community will welcome this news.”
