The newly refurbished holiday cottages are the only self-catering accommodation available at the beauty spot and are part of a small handful of properties available to book on the South Downs themselves.

Eastbourne council owns the buildings and has converted them.

“The location offers a unique mix of countryside and coast, with the rolling hills and wide open spaces lending themselves perfectly for natural distancing, allowing visitors to relax and enjoy their beautiful surroundings.

“Each cottage sleeps up to four or five people and features a kitchen/diner, separate lounge area complete with HD Smart TV, bathroom and a dedicated office allowing guests to take advantage of the free high-speed WiFi for an idyllic ‘working from holiday’ escape. The cottages also boast private gardens with BBQ facilities.

“With a multitude of activities on their doorstep, guests can walk the historic South Downs Way, stroll to world famous Beachy Head and gaze at the stars from Birling Gap, an International Dark Sky Reserve, just a short drive away.”
