Update on when popular Eastbourne pub will re-open

Bosses at a popular Eastbourne pub say it will re-open when social distancing measures are relaxed.

The Friday Street Farm pub and restaurant in Friday Street has been closed since the coronavirus lockdown began in March.

As other hostelries opened when lockdown eased, the venue has remained shut.

Brian Keeley-Whiting, the managing director at Whiting & Hammond, which runs the venue, said, “When the government change the social distancing rules, we will plan to open the remaining four sites including the Friday Street Farm that are still closed.”
