New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Eastbourne’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Golden Flower Kitchen, at 229 Seaside, Eastbourne, East Sussex was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on September 25.

And Jade Garden, at 100 Seaside, Eastbourne, East Sussex was given a score of one on September 25.

It means that of Eastbourne's 69 takeaways with ratings, 44 have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
