VIDEO: Runners out in force for Worthing 10k

The race began on Worthing promenade and was an out and back route, with its westerly turn point at Goring Gap.
Brighton Phoenix’s Jon Pepper was first to cross the line in 32min 28sec, closely followed by Brighton & Hove’s Kevin Rojas, who finished in 32-34. Haywards Heath’s Glenn Driver was third in 33-52.

Hide AdThe first lady home was Havering’s Faye Fullerton in 35-38, ahead of Worthing & District Harriers’ Helen Buller (37-56) and Arena 80’s Caroline Hoyte.
Hundreds of runners were taking part to raise money for charity, with large teams running for St Barnabas House and Chestnut Tree House.
