The Westies won 4-2 at home to Steyning Town on Saturday to edge away from the lower reaches of Macron Store Sussex County League Division Two.
Warren said: “It was massive. We needed to get that first win so we can get a bit of momentum going in the league and start climbing up that table.

“First half I thought we were a bit flat and didn’t quite work as hard as we did at East Preston. We had a few words at half time and the second half performance was superb. I always felt we were going to go on and win the game.
“Pughy (hat-trick hero David Pugh) is a top quality striker and he’s been superb for us. He just keeps scoring goals; give him the ball and he’ll score.”
Having won back-to-back games in all competitions, Warren admits it’s frustrating that Westfield are fixtureless this coming Saturday. Their next outing is away to Midhurst & Easebourne next weekend.
