SCFL top dogs AFC Uckfield just too strong for Horsham YMCA
There was a good early AFC chance after great work by Sam Carrington but his cross is prodded millimetres wide by a onrushing Luca Page. After 10 minutes Sam Carrington was chopped down in the box resulting in a penalty appeal which was turned down by the referee.
Uckfield took the lead on 16 minutes with a great team effort and a tremendous goal by Luca Page. On 23 minutes Uckfield had a goal ruled out for offside.

Hide AdUckfield were on fire and tested Horsham YMCA keeper Aaron Jeal with a great shot on goal from a Morgan Vale thunderbolt. HT 1-0.
AFC continued to put on pressure and after 55 minutes went 2-0 up with a great finish by Morgan Vale. They continued to pile on the pressure and Sam Carrington had a outrageous overhead kick which just dribbled wide.
After 82 minutes, a speculative effort by substitute Jay Stevens made the YMCA keeper back-pedal to put the ball over.
At 91st minute consolation for YMCA made the final score 2-1. This was another valuable three points for AFC Uckfield Town, keeping them at the top of the league and their unbeaten record intact.
