Days of Pleasure is a winner at Fontwell
Last week's meeting at the award-winning track was no exception, when a good crowd braved bitter easterly winds to enjoy a fine day's racing.
Chris saddled up Days of Pleasure to win the Hands and Heels Jumps Series handicap hurdle at 9-1, It was a particularly notable victory, for in the saddle was amateur rider Tom Cannon, who was scoring his first win Under Rules to add to a number of point to point victories.
Tom (18) comes from a family steeped in riding history.

Hide AdTom's grandmother, Angela, was a champion point-to-point rider and his mother Linda rode a number of winners, His ancestor, Tom Cannon started out as a stable lad in 1865, when he was 14-years-old, going on to be a successful trainer, and had three sons who all became renowned jockeys and trainers in their own right.
