Aldwick’s skipper lost the toss for the 13th time in a row and they were asked to bat – and once again they struggled to survive.

Despite Keelan Belcher’s 36 and Adam Robinson’s 20, Aldwick could only total 126. Tight bowling by Mark Coskin (4-31) and Jack Sunderland (2-19) gave Aldwick little chance of progress.

Opener Gary Weedon (65*) and Tom Wareham-Grinstead (43) easily saw East Preston home by eight wickets, leaving Aldwick with only ten points from three games and rooted to the bottom of the league
