Northiam Parish Council is opposing plans to build five new homes on the Alpine site at Ewhurst Lane.

Local residents have also sent more than 15 letters of objection.

The application has been called in for a site visit by Rother Council’s planning committee prior to being determined.

Northiam Council has recommended refusal.
