Making a Difference is the theme for this year’s Local Newspaper Week, which runs 12th-18th May. To mark this special event, Johnston Press are running videos on all of its newspapers’ websites, which span the whole country, showcasing local people that really make a difference in their community.

There are so many worthy charities in East Sussex and thousands of residents that give up their time, unpaid, to help others. The video above focuses on just a few of these generous people lending a helping hand at St Michael’s Hospice in St Leonards. Like so many volunteers, they donate their time to help a cause that they feel really passionate about.
