Rye and Winchelsea Rotary Club are inviting people to join their annual charity walk on Sunday May 24.

This year they have organised an invigorating springtime walk around the meadows and wetlands surrounding Camber Castle and the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve.

Rotarian Derick Holman said: “After a long winter this is a chance for young and old to get those muscles moving and raise money for charity.

“You will also be able to take part in a treasure hunt and a visit to the courtyard of the Tudor castle itself - a must for all Wolf Hall fans.

“This yearly amble has even more to offer those who love the great outdoors and the support of good causes. “

To join in the walk you should contact Rye Rotary either at or telephone 01797 772000 for full details.
