Here's how you can donate to Burgess Hill's Christmas Hamper Project
Burgess Hill Christmas Hamper Project aims to deliver 300 Christmas hampers containing basic food items and seasonal fare to people in need in Burgess Hill and surrounding villages.
The hampers will help household budgets stretch a little further and bring some festive cheer to people who are struggling financially.

Hide AdItems on the food list are milk (UHT), 1kg bags of sugar, tea bags, instant coffee, cartons of longlife fruit juice, tinned carrots, sweetcorn and peas, pasta sauces, tinned meat and meatballs, tinned fruit, tinned tomatoes, tinned custard, Angel Delight, packets of jelly, tinned rice pudding, biscuits, jam, mince pies, children's chocolate selection boxes, and chocolate logs.
They ask that other items aren't included because they want every donation to be similar, and that products are of a nice quality - not value items.
You can help by donating items from the food list and dropping them in to the various collection points across the town, including in the Town Council Help Point.
Other drop off points are Tesco (main store), The King's Centre, Specsavers, Co-op and Halifax in Burgess Hill, Burgess Hill Community Radio, and Janton News in Hurstpierpoint.
The scheme is co-ordinated by Burgess Hill District Lions Club, The King’s Church, Burgess Hill Community Food Bank, Burgess Hill Youth and Burgess Hill Town Council.
