The Martlets concerned over detrimental impact
We are amazed by his suggestion that the huge green area to the west of the home is a shameful waste of space. Is he suggesting that every open area should be built upon?
We believe the architecture of this iconic Victorian convalescent home is quite unique to the area and is a great asset to Rustington visually. It is probably the best remaining prominent building left in Rustington.

The proposed development will have a detrimental impact on the amenities of the properties immediately adjacent to the site by being overlooked, the loss of privacy and its total visually overbearing impact.
The obvious increase in the volume of traffic will add to the already serious congestion in Rustington.
We are experiencing a high level of building along the south coast and the local infrastructure is taking the strain.
