Sports should set a high standard for the young
As a retired physical education teacher, I implore the government to reinstate grass root physical activities and sport for youngsters.
The mental aspects and happiness gained from taking part in exercise are immense and so important to the future wellbeing of our children.

I take great umbrage at the message our sports men and women are giving our children.
They are highly privileged at being able to participate in their chosen activities in this current lockdown.
Seeing them abuse this in terms of social distancing and wild celebrations is a kick in the teeth for our children who have been denied the right to be active.

An active lifestyle is in the governments hands. Woe the repercussions if grassroots sort and activities are not reinstated!
