LETTER: Sunday voting?
With the world changing so fast now surely this could be the time to reconsider the proposal of our voting day being changed to Sunday.
Most people I speak to agree and feel sure that turnout would be considerably improved.
No more school closures and plenty of reliable, secure volunteers to help man the posts.
Working days are not popular, hence the low turnout.
