Equestrian championships success for Handcross Park pupil
The Championships were held at Addington Manor in Gloucestershire during half term and over 500 riders contested the finals over 3 days. Regional qualifying events are held throughout the year, with the top 2 teams and top 2 individuals in each class going forward to the National Championships.
Jodie gained qualifications to represent Handcross Park on two ponies, “Millie” and “Jack”, in Show Jumping and Arena Eventing.

Graeme Owton, Headmaster of Handcross Park commented, “This is a remarkable achievement and one Jodie fully deserves. We are extremely proud of her because she works incredibly hard every weekend to improve her riding and she now has her reward for all her efforts. To be an Under 19 champion at the age of 12 is quite outstanding.”
