A major road was closed and slow traffic was seen because of a ‘police incident’ near Eastbourne, the AA said.
On the AA website it says it first received a report of the incident on the A259 East Dean Road between Crowlink Lane and Gilberts Drive at around 11.12am today (Wednesday, March 8).
A Sussex Police spokesperson said: “This was a response to a high risk missing person, who is now in the care of police. The road has since re-opened.”
