Horsham gamers join the Pokémon Go craze

The smartphone game, which allows people to catch a variety of creatures in real-life settings, was made available to download on Google Play and iTunes earlier today (July 14).
Pokémon Go has already proved incredibly popular, with millions of downloads worldwide. And despite it not officially being available in the UK until today, many people have used a work-around to download it.

Hide AdPeople hoping to join the craze are already getting messages to try later when they attempt to download the game, such is its amazing popularity.
While players across Sussex are starting to create Pokemon Go Facebook pages and communities, the emphasis on social media is firmly with Twitter where #Pokemon has been trending.
There are various accounts on Twitter across West Sussex for fans of the game, such as @HorshamPokemon, while players are ‘claiming’ various landmarks across the county.
