Gazette to become closer to its readers
Mobile equipment – from portable laptops to hand-held communications – means our stories can be written where and when the news is happening.
With video and audio to enhance our coverage like never before, the Gazette can bring you breaking news on its website and in its comprehensive weekly newspaper presentation.

Hide AdTo facilitate the changes it is leaving its office in Beach Road on Wednesday, February 5 as it no longer meet its needs.
But our reporters will continue to attend the meetings of county, district, town and parish councils, the local courts, and all the other community events the Gazette has always taken part in.
And there will also be regular reporters’ surgeries across the areas served by the Gazette to ensure readers have access to the people who write your paper – without the need to make a journey to a specific office base. Full details of these will be published shortly.
At the same time, we want to encourage more contributions from community organisations.
