COUNTY NEWS: Armed robbery from Sussex taxi firm
Police said the armed suspects threatened a member of staff at the offices of ‘Starline’ in Market Road, Chichester, and demanded money before he was able to run out of the office and call police.
Two men were then seen leaving the taxi firm a short time later with the company’s safe, before running across the road to the Cattlemarket Car Park, police said.
No one was hurt, a police spokesperson said.
