BREAKING NEWS: Air ambulance called after A27 Chichester crash
The accident happened around 1.15pm today (March 5) on the Fishbourne Roundabout after a lorry carrying a mobile home collided with a car.
The woman – believed to be driving the car – had to be extricated by firefighters and has been airlifted to hospital in the past few minutes.

Hide AdThe A27 eastbound is shut and traffic is being diverted along Terminus Road.
Traffic is at a standstill and emergency services remain at the scene.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service had three fire trucks rushing to the scene, along with its hydraulic rescue appliance.
Sussex Police said the lorry had ‘jack knifed’, blocking the road at the eastbound exit, adding the car driver was believed to have suffered a ‘serious head injury’.
