Both lanes of A259 closed following Rustington collision
Both lanes of the A259 at Rustington have been closed following a collision this evening (Thursday, May 13).
Emergency services were called the the scene following reports of a collision at 5.14pm today.
A person was found to be trapped in a vehicle but was later released.
An air ambulance was also in attendance.

Hide AdPC Tom Van Der Wee of the Sussex of the Sussex Roads Policing Unit said: "We’re on scene with @SECAmbulance, @airambulancekss and @WestSussexFire at a road traffic collision on the #A259 #Littlehampton between the Bodyshop roundabout and Golf club roundabout.
"Both carriageways are closed and will be for the foreseeable future."
Crews left the scene at 6.45pm.
