Bodiam
Bodiam was due to have a power cut on March 27, but due to operational constraints has been postponed and UK Power Networks will contact residents once the work is rescheduled.
Bodiam had a very good parish assembly with very good reports from the Bodiam Church of England School Council, Claremont School, parish council, Rother Valley Railway, St Giles Church and many more, with very good refreshments.

Hide AdAlan and Marion, who run the National Trust bookshop at Bodiam Castle, would like to thank everyone for recent kind donations of books, which is greatly appreciated and will help raise much-needed funds for ongoing projects at Bodiam. I do feel that we must thank Alan and Marion for their hard work in running the bookshop. National Trust seem to forget sometimes the people who work for free.
At last the land slip in the main street of Bodiam has been removed. But why oh why did it take so long? Phone calls were made to ESCC many times and so the village sent for our ESCC Cllr Angharad Davies. Many thanks Angharad.
