Ann Widdecombe raises thousands for donkey charity

Writer, TV presenter and former MP Ann Widdecombe has raised thousands of pounds for a Scaynes Hill-based donkey charity.

The politician turned television celebrity appeared on ITV’s All-Star Family Fortunes last Saturday (January 12) with her niece, nephew and their spouses.

Ann beat opera singer Paul Potts and his family to the £10,000 prize which has been split between Safe Haven for Donkeys in the Holy Land and another charity.
