Educational shelter planned for Pagham nature reserve

The shelter and bunded pond at Pagham Harbour Nature Reserve, Sidlesham, would be located near to the existing ‘Discovery Area’.
Made from a recycled shippig container, the shelter would be characterised by timber ‘habitat panels’ and a green roof covered with vegetation.

Hide AdDrawings also show a ramp for disabled access to the shlter and a raised bank surrounding the pond.
The site was formerly used for landfill, but supporting documents state the county council and responsible site agency are satisfied there is ‘no risk of contamination’.
