Sales director Danny Hoskins presented a cheque for £1,274 to Dame Vera’s daughter Virginia Lewis-Jones and son-in-law Tom on Saturday, March 20, Dame Vera Lynn’s birthday.
“We were delighted with how well The Dame was received during these challenging times,” said Danny, adding that Brewery staff were saddened to learn of Dame Vera’s death last year.
“Many of our customers took the opportunity to raise a glass in her memory and to make a small contribution to causes dear to her heart,” he said.
