KEITH Jack, one of the finalists in the BBC series Any Dream Will Do, will be starring as Joseph when the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical comes to the Congress Theatre from April 5-10.
The TV series, a search to find a leading man for the West End production, was watched by millions every night.
Keith narrowly lost out on the top prize as he came second, but went on to play the Narrator in the UK tour and returns in the lead role for the 2011 tour. He has appeared as Aladdin in Aladdin at the King’s Theatre Glasgow, the title role in Peter Pan at His Majesty’s Theatre in Aberdeen and also created the lead role of Charlie in the new musical Only The Brave, which premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe.
This colourful retelling of the biblical story about Joseph, his 11 brothers and the coat of many colours sings out to young and old alike with a score which is wall to wall hits - including Close Every Door and Any Dream Will Do.
Evening performances are at 7.30pm, with Thursday and Saturday matinees at 2.30pm and performances on Sunday at 2pm and 5pm. Tickets £13.50-£27, call 412000.
