Seaford Musical Theatre Juniors (SMTJ) are winners of the Sussex Life Awards category for Services to the Community 2015.

At a gala awards dinner, held at the Hilton Brighton Metropole Hotel, radio presenter hosts Richard Reynolds and Anna Bingham announced the three finalists followed by the outright winner.

SMTJ Director, Paula Woolven, described being names as the award winner as “simply incredible” and added: “I’d like to thank all my volunteers and supporters, without whom the opportunities we offer young people would not be possible.”

Judge Iain Nicol, CEO of the South of England Show said; “Their ethos of confidence, creativity and consideration is more than a mantra, it is the essence of their success as individuals and their achievements in the community. Oh, and they put on great shows!”
