‘Leave Hitler to Me, Lad’ is coming to the Under Ground Theatre on Sunday June 21 at 2pm and 7pm.
The play tells the story of a lost generation of children in the aftermath of World War 2. Brian’s Dad is a war hero who should be back any day, but has never yet in seven years, so Brian builds his own little family at school with his rabbit Pandy, friends Gladys, an orphan, George, and Mr Bill his Welfare Officer. The production, written by Haley Cox, is based on the real experiences of her father and his school friends during their time at Great Stony residential school. The show is suitable for an audience aged 10+. It is ideal for year 6 children and above. Tickets £6.50.
