Eastbourne’s most ambitious pantomime of all-time, Peter Pan, has opened and is playing to packed houses at the Devonshire Park Theatre all over the Christmas period and into the New Year until mid January.

Peter Pan has delighted audiences with a stunning display of visual effects, live music from the brilliant musicians and wonderfully talented cast.

The show, which is a first for Eastbourne Theatres in-house productions, features a glittering set, gorgeous costumes, a magical flight to Neverland and of course a ticking crocodile.

Audiences have been coming out of the theatre buzzing saying it’s ‘The best Eastbourne pantomime we’ve ever seen’.

Devonshire Park Theatre Front of House Manager Natalie Pennington says: “Working in the theatre during pantomime is such a special time of year; the buzz of excitement as the audience go in to see the show is infectious, and when you see the faces of the children coming out at the end of the performance it’s so lovely.”

The theatres pride themselves on producing a top-quality show which is packed with traditional panto elements, whilst also ensuring there are lots of current references that children, and adults, will know and love.

Peter Pan Director and Writer Chris Jordan said: “We are delighted that so many people have been enjoying the pantomime, it has been a lot of hard work but it is all so worth it! The audiences have been fantastic and that brings an extra special element to the show. One of the things I love most about panto is that it doesn’t matter if you’re aged 5 or 95 you will love it, it’s a wonderfully uniting thing.”
