Moira directs a classic tale from Charles Dickens

EODS Youth Productions are delighted to have Moira Brooker as director of their production of A Christmas Carol which opens at the Devonshire Park Theatre on October 30.

Moira trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and has been a professional actress for more than 30 years playing many leading roles both in London and all over the UK.

She was a founder member of The New Vic Theatre Company which toured major theatres all round the UK and USA, including a short spell on Broadway in Dracula and the award-winning One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest in the West End.

She is now a co-director of New Vic Productions which develops and produces new plays in Eastbourne, Brighton, London and on tour. She most recently appeared onstage at The Devonshire Park in Jo Ho Ho for the New Play Festival in 2010.

Moira has worked a lot of TV but is best known as Judith alongside Judi Dench and Geoffrey Palmer in the acclaimed long running BBC Comedy series As Time Goes By.

This vibrant and atmospheric musical, based on the novel by Charles Dickens, is suitable for all the family .

Performances are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday October 30 to November 1 at 7.45pm with matinees on Friday and Saturday at 2.30pm. (Please note there is no performance on Saturday evening).
