Julia Donaldson’s latest picture book comes magically to life on stage when The Scarecrows’ Wedding comes to the Devonshire Park Theatre.
This adaptation by Scamp Theatre promises an epic love story with wit, drama - and wedding bells.
Betty O’Barley and Harry O’Hay are excellent scarecrows who decide to get married. Harry sets off to search for their wedding day essentials including a dress of feathers, and necklace made of shells. However the farmer notices he is missing a scarecrow and replaces Harry with the devilishly smooth but dangerous Reginald Rake.
