Wizard of Oz half term production from EODS
Wizard of Oz half term production from EODS

EODS Productions - Youth Section invites you to hitch a ride as they follow the Yellow Brick Road to the far-off land of Oz, which as everyone knows is Somewhere Over the Rainbow.

Dorothy Gale of Kanzas lives on a farm with her Aunt Em and Uncle Henry and tends to get in their way while they try to work.

She finds a quiet place to stay out of trouble and one day a twister hits the farm and carries her away over the rainbow to another world. Along the way she meets three new friends and travel companions, The Scarecrow, The Tinman and a Cowardly Lion.

With lots of adventures along the road they eventually arrive at The Emerald City and meet the Wizard.

The Wizard of Oz will put a smile on everyones face during half term week. It opens at the Devonshire Park Theatre from Tuesday October 27 to Saturday October 31. Evening performances are at 7.30pm with matinees on Wednesday 28th at 2.30 pm and Saturday 31st at 3pm. (There is no performance on Saturday evening.)
