EASTBOURNE Stagers will be performing Annie at the Devonshire Park Theatre from May 17-21.
The musical is set in the 1920s, during the American depression,
Annie (played by Hannah Turner) is an orphan who is determined to find her parents who abandoned her on the doorstep of a New York city orphanage and is run by the cruel Miss Hannigan (played by Jane James).
Annie finds a new home with the billionaire Oliver Warbucks and along the way befriends President Franklin Roosevelt, and a dog named Sandy. Songs from the show include Maybe, Hard Knock Life and Tomorrow.
