The star-studded cast of JB Priestley’s classic Dangerous Corner, currently playing at the Devonshire Park Theatre in Eastbourne, took time out of their busy schedules to go for a bracing wander at Eastbourne Pier and the bandstand on Wednesday.
It was a timely opportunity for the cast to soak up the 1930s atmosphere of this iconic landmark to help them get into character for the play, which premiered in London in 1932.
Susanna Herbert (The Events, the Great Escape); Rosie Armstrong (Chimerica, The Woman in Black); Matt Milne (Downton Abbey, War Horse); Kim Thomson (Present Laughter, Judge John Deed); James Sanderson (The Travelling Storybox, Eurocrash – the Musical); Lauren Drummond (Billy Liar, Holby City); Finty Williams (Cranford, Born and Bred); and Michael Praed (Robin of Sherwood, the Rothko Conspiracy) are pictured on a windswept seafront.
You can still catch the Dangerous Corner, JB Priestley’s timeless mystery, at the Devonshire Park Theatre until Saturday, October 11. Tickets are priced £15.50-£23. To book call the box office on 01323 412000 or go online to www.eastbournetheatres.co.uk.
