ANYONE who was unfortunate enough to miss the New Vic production of Swimming at the Ritz at the Devonshire Park Theatre in March will have another opportunity to see it when a special preview presentation for one performance only on Sunday October 9 at 1.30pm.
The production sees Felicity Dean reprise her role as Pamela Churchill Harriman, daughter-in-law of Sir Winston Churchill. She is an adventurer, socialite and the most famous courtesan of the twentieth century.
She is also facing one enormous crisis! In her new role as US Ambassador to France she is under siege and holed up at the Paris Ritz Hotel.
Madame Harriman is being sued for 40 million dollars, having gone through her 115 million dollar inheritance and the Trust Fund left for the Harriman grandchildren.
Throughout the play she is ably supported by Jos Vantyler.
The play, which was so successful earlier in the year, is being presented as a Benefit Performance, with all proceeds going to the Friends of the Devonshire Park Theatre, for one performance only and tickets are available from the Theatres Box Office or phone 412000 on a pay what you can offer.
