Pop along to Congress for a chat with Alan Carr

THE orignal chatty man is back - Alan Carr is coming to the Congress Theatre on August 12 for a special pre-arena tour as he tries out new material with a work in progress gig.

Tickets go on sale on June 23 at 10am - and his last visit to Eastbourne sold out.

This show is a special warm-up gig prior to his 33 date arena tour Spexy Beast.

Alan won the New Comedian of the Year Award at the 2001 BBC New Comedy Awards and in 2005 was named Best Stand up comedian in the North West at the North West Comedy Awards.

He has also featured in three Edinburgh shows, appeared at the Reading and Leeds Festivals and Live Earth.

Alan Carr made his television debut as a guest on Today with Des and Mel and co-presented Channel 4’s The Friday Night Project alongside Justin Lee Collins.

He has made regular appearances on gameshows such as FAQ U and 8 Out of 10 Cats and also performed in the Royal Variety Performance.

Chatty Man his unique brand of chat show has just returned to Channel 4 for its sixth series.
