THE NORAH Sande Award will be taking place on July 7-8 at the Birley Centre.
The competition, for international young adult pianists just starting out, or about to start out, on a professional career is open to a public audience.
Performances will take place throughout the day on Saturday (from 9.30am) with the final adjudicated from 2pm on the Sunday with recital programmes by three finalists followed by an announcement of the winner and runners up at about 5.30pm.
Entry for the public is free throughout the day on Saturday and the audience can enter and exit between the recital programmes.
