A TREAT is in store for acoustic guitar enthusiasts when Chris Moreton performs at The Lamb Folk Club on April 6.
Described by The Independent as ‘the best bluegrass guitarist in the country’, and with a supreme ability to entertain, Chris has endeared himself to audiences for many years.
He has several awards to his name, including the Edale Bluegrass Festival Guitar Player contest which he won five years running.
Although best known as a bluegrass guitarist and singer, his repertoire extends into pop and classical territory with a unique rendition of Handel’s ‘Arrival of The Queen of Sheba’ winning him Guitarist Magazine’s Guitarist of the Year Award.
Also excelling on banjo and mandolin, Chris has appeared at major folk and bluegrass festivals in the UK and the USA as a solo artist and with his band, The Jalapeno Pickers.
