The London Philharmonic Orchestra comes Eastbourne in January.
On Sunday January 31 they will perform a selection of classical treats to welcome in the new year including excerpts from Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, the work that proved that ballet music has a valuable place in the concert hall. The performance takes place on Sunday January 31 at 3pm. The programme is as follows: Wagner Prelude to Act 1, Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg, Bruch Violin Concerto No. 1, Khachaturian Masquerade Suite
and Tchaikovsky Swan Lake (excerpts). It will feature the talents of conductor Matthew Wood and violinist Tianwa Yang violin.
